SweatWall · Last updated 30 July 2026

SweatWall collects nothing. There is no account, no server of ours, and no code in the app that sends anything anywhere.

That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is the detail behind it, because “we collect nothing” is a claim worth being specific about.

What we collect

Nothing. No name, no email, no device identifier, no advertising identifier, no usage statistics, no crash reports.

The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no attribution or advertising SDK, and no third-party SDK of any kind. It contains no networking code at all.

What the app stores, and where

Everything SweatWall knows lives on your device, in the app’s own storage, shared only with SweatWall’s own extensions:

  • Your completed sessions and the reps in them
  • The times a wall appeared and you walked away instead
  • Your calibration result and your rule — the exercise and the number of reps
  • Your settings, and which membership you hold

None of it is transmitted. Deleting SweatWall deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means there is nothing for us to restore if you delete it.

The apps you put behind the wall

We never learn which apps you chose. iOS hands the app opaque tokens rather than names, and SweatWall never attempts to resolve them. Even we cannot tell what is behind your wall.

Motion and the camera

Reps are counted from your iPhone’s motion and proximity sensors, processed on the device as they arrive and then discarded. Sensor readings are never written to storage and never leave the phone. Only the resulting rep count is kept.

The camera is never used. There is no camera code in the app and no camera permission for you to grant.

Notifications

SweatWall sends two notifications, both created and delivered locally on your device: one when a shielded app hands you over to do your reps, and one when an unlocked window is about to close. There is no push server, and the app never has a push token.

Purchases

Memberships are sold through the App Store using Apple’s own StoreKit. Your payment details go to Apple and are never seen by SweatWall — the app receives only whether a valid purchase exists, verified on the device by iOS. Apple’s handling of that transaction is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Screen Time

SweatWall uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to place the wall in front of the apps you pick. That machinery runs inside iOS. It reports nothing to us, and we have no way to read your Screen Time history.

This website

sweatwall.app sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party — no webfont, no tag manager, no embedded video. There is no form on it and no newsletter to join, so there is nothing for it to collect. Cloudflare serves the pages and, like any host, processes the request itself in order to answer it.

Children

SweatWall is not directed at children, and since it collects no personal information it collects none from children either.

Who we are

SweatWall is made and published by Engineers Space LLC, and “we” on this page means that company. It is the party responsible for the app and for this site — though, as above, neither one collects anything about you to be responsible for.

Changes to this policy

If what the app does ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Because the app has no way to contact you, this page is the record.
